Chalupa is a striking 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who was found wandering near a Taco Bell in Passaic last week. Life in the shelter threw him at first—he was anxious and unsure in unfamiliar surroundings, but it didn’t take long for his personality to start breaking through. With steady attention from staff, Chalupa’s confidence has grown, and he’s begun greeting familiar faces with warmth.
