About Carlisle

Carlisle has been through a lot since arriving at the rescue in August 2023 after being bullied in his feral colony. Despite a rough start, he’s remained gentle and loving, with a resilience that stands out. In October 2024, Carlisle was found to have signs of kidney disease, but his recent vet check in June showed completely normal kidney values—he’s still going strong and feeling good. This medium-sized domestic short hair has been living comfortably with a family in hospice foster, but a sudden move means he urgently needs a new quiet home. Carlisle requires a special diet for allergies and kidney support—he’s used to Hydrolyzed Kidney food, though Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin and Stomach works well for him too. Carlisle does well with other cats after the right introductions and has lived peacefully with children. He’s house trained and thrives in calmer environments with someone who appreciates a gentle, peaceful companion. If you have space in your home and patience in your heart, Carlisle is ready to meet you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
