About Blue
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Blue is a beautiful Russian Blue female with a sleek grey coat, and she's especially unique because she is deaf. Rescued from an apartment complex in Seabrook, she has adapted wonderfully to living indoors and now enjoys the safety and affection of a loving foster home. Blue gets along well with her foster's other cat and a small dog, showing she's flexible and adaptable with fellow pets. Already spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated (including FeLV), she's ready for her next chapter. Blue relies on her sight, smell, and touch to interact with her world, and often, it's not immediately obvious that she has a hearing impairment. She looks forward to mealtimes, quickly responding to any cues she can sense, especially when treats are involved! While she may be initially cautious around new people, she becomes affectionate and seeks out pets and attention once comfortable. Anyone interested in welcoming Blue should be patient and prepared to use hand signals or gentle vibrations to communicate, embracing the rewarding experience of caring for a deaf cat. As a fun fact, Blue is a Pisces—cats with this sun sign tend to be gentle and intuitive, often forming deep bonds with their humans. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
