About River
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet River, part of the Woodland Wanderers quartet—Meadow, Reed, River, and Willow. These sweet, resilient puppies entered rescue as tiny two-week-old bottle babies after their mother’s passing. Thanks to tireless care and love, they have blossomed into affectionate, healthy, and playful adventurers who are now ready for forever homes. River’s family roots are a blend of husky mix and a hint of NC mystery, and he is expected to reach a medium adult weight of 40–60 lbs. His short brown coat and soulful eyes will win your heart. Because this group may inherit classic husky traits, secure fenced yards are preferred to give River the safe space he needs to run, romp, and enjoy that bouncy puppy energy. All pups in this litter are gentle, curious, and snuggly, ready to bring love and fun to a devoted family. After such a tender start, River is seeking a home where he will be deeply cherished and supported as he grows. Born on February 5, River is an Aquarius—famous for their curiosity and friendliness.
