About Pilgrim
What are you waiting for? Apply today! When Pilgrim was rescued, he was found trapped in a garage with a badly broken leg that had healed the wrong way, leaving him to move around on three feet and one knee. Since the leg couldn't be repaired, it was surgically amputated, making him a proud "tripod" cat. Despite his fearful beginnings, Pilgrim has proven to be a resilient survivor. With dedicated love and patience from his foster family, Pilgrim has blossomed—he’s now a timid but affectionate cat who enjoys gentle attention and is comfortable living with other cats. Pilgrim is a confident climber, especially loving his cat tree, though he's still cautious when on the floor and remains wary of people—never showing aggression but preferring slow interactions. Pilgrim would thrive with a special adopter who is willing to offer him patience, extra assurance, and maybe a few Churu treats to win his heart and help him feel truly at home.
