Meet Niblet! This precious 11 month old beagle mix came to us from a local shelter. Niblet came to us terrified and shut down. He was placed in a foster home and so far is making good progress. Niblet is still very scared of everything, but LOVES other dogs and they really help his confidence. We have no idea what this sweet boy has gone through in his short life to make him so scared, but we are working tirelessly to help him thrive. Here's what his foster has to say: "Little Niblet is slowly opening up. The first week he was here he never left kennel, now he rarely goes in it. He LOVES dogs! He follows them around and loves to play! He's recently started to run around the house so fast with toys and bounces around the bed with them. He sleeps with me at night but is also comfortable in a kennel. He's housebroken now too. He does fine with my cat. He will walk on a leash but is still getting used to that. He was skinny but has gained some weight! He will take treats from your hand now. Slowly but surely he's getting braver every day."
