About Bunny Athens
Bunny Athens is a 9-year-old Beagle who weighs about 35 lbs and has an easygoing, loving nature. She came into the rescue after her previous owner could no longer care for her and arrived with two other dogs, yet she hasn’t lost her calm or faith in people. Bunny thrives on companionship and wants nothing more than to be close to her person. She’s easy to have around, honest and relaxed, with a gentle and laid-back temperament. House training is second nature for her—she comfortably goes all night without issues. Although crate trained, Bunny is entirely trustworthy loose in the house and has never caused any trouble left unsupervised. She’s a breeze to walk and keeps a relaxed pace on leash. Outdoors, she enjoys walking, being in the sun, and playing with her stuffed toys. Bunny gets along well with children and has done nicely with the small dogs she meets. For her age, she’s spry and manages stairs without hesitation. Recently diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma, Bunny is still feeling well and will return for monitoring soon. She needs an empathetic family ready to share kindness and understanding, and to give her a home filled with comfort and dignity as she ages. Bunny is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she’s ready for her final, loving chapter. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
