About Bear
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Bear is a lovable German Shepherd/Husky mix with soulful eyes and a loyal heart, waiting for his forever home. Rescued after being abandoned on a dirt road with his brother, Bear has blossomed into a healthy, attentive, and sweet-natured companion. He is about a year old, potty trained, and both neutered and vaccinated, making him ready to fit right into your home. Bear enjoys playtime with his brother but is also content spending quality time alone and will happily bond with his new people. While he has plenty of youthful energy, he loves to relax and soak up affection at his foster mom’s feet. Bear knows several basic commands and has shown a real eagerness to learn new tricks, especially for treats and encouragement. Though he can be hesitant around new people and young children, Bear is not aggressive but prefers calm introductions at his own pace. He’s been praised by veterinary staff for his sweet temperament and good manners on leash walks, though he may react to other dogs at times. Bear would thrive in a patient home where someone is committed to continuing his training and providing plenty of love and time. Bear is being promoted by BLR as a courtesy post, and they are facilitating exposure and application screening for his finder. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
