Lady – 8 Month Old Spayed Female Airedale Terrier Albany, NY Area Lady is being surrendered to Trina & Friends K9 Rescue and we are helping find a committed foster or adopter for her. Lady is an 8-month-old purebred Airedale Terrier, born July 5, 2025 in Isle La Motte, Vermont, from a well-established 20-year Airedale kennel. She was acquired at 4 months old. She is spayed, fully vetted, and housetrained, and is currently in boarding in the Albany, NY area while we search for the right foster or adopter. Lady is a highly intelligent and inquisitive dog with a classic Airedale personality. She has boundless energy and loves retrieval games and playtime. She is trained to do her business outdoors and enjoys enrichment activities. Her favorite treats include peanut butter in a small Kong, and a large weighted Kong filled with small treats can keep her happily occupied for up to 30 minutes. She loves her kennel and happily goes to bed around 7 PM, sleeps through the night, and takes two short naps during the day (mid-morning and mid-afternoon). Like many young dogs, Lady is still a puppy and can be a bit mouthy, though she is improving with chew toys. She may also jump up and is very curious about food on counters or tables, which is typical of the breed and her age. Lady is truly a wonderful young dog who will grow into an incredible companion in the right home. Her family is heartbroken to make this decision, but due to significant illness they can no longer properly meet her needs. They want to ensure she finds a loving and active home.
