Her name is Mary J. Blige and she is three years old. MJ is a tiny Dachshund with shiny black fur, warm brown eyes, and the sweetest little face you’ve ever seen. But even with all that cuteness, MJ is still waiting for something very special — her forever home. Every morning Mary wakes up hopeful. She stretches her long little body, wiggles her tail, and looks around, wondering if today might be the day someone chooses her. Mary loves the simple things in life. Soft blankets to burrow under. Sunny spots on the floor where she can nap. Gentle belly rubs that make her little back legs kick with happiness. And more than anything, she loves people. She dreams of a home where she can follow her person from room to room, curl up beside them on the couch, and greet them every day like they are the best thing that ever happened to her. Mary doesn’t need much — just a warm lap, a cozy blanket, and someone who will love her forever. And somewhere out there, her person is waiting too… they just don’t know it yet. She came in with another little boy & would love to go to a home with Bruno, but it’s not a must. Mary will not be ready for her new home for a few weeks.
