About Wally
Wally spent too long waiting for a family who never came back, but he’s ready now to be someone’s true companion. Rescued from a high-stress shelter environment, Wally is a tricolor Corgi mix weighing around 24 lbs who knows what he wants: all your affection and attention. He loves people and insists on plenty of pets—if you stop too soon, he’ll let you know with his little demand bark. Wally is housetrained and handles both indoor and outdoor potty with ease, though he might have an accident or two while getting used to a new place. Wally prefers life as an “only child.” He lives peacefully but shares affection reluctantly, so he should be your one and only pet. While he likely does well with kids, sharing the household (and all the treats and head pats) with another dog isn’t a good fit for him. He’s actively working on his leash manners and makes progress with patient encouragement. With Wally, loyalty comes built in—he’ll want to be by your side, soaking it all up. Ready to start a new chapter, Wally’s looking for someone who wants to be his whole world. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
