Meet Blizzard! He is a 7-year-old Husky boy who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. ❤️ He is not a Jackson Friends pup. He was surrendered to a local rescuer. This sweet guy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and 100% housetrained. He has lived with children and cats and has done wonderfully with both. He also does well around other dogs. He is a friendly and affectionate dog who enjoys being around his people and is happy to be part of the family. His current family loves him very much, but their child has autism and is very sensitive to the constant licking and the amount of hair that comes with a long-haired Husky, so they have made the difficult decision to find him a home that is a better fit for everyone. Like many Huskies, he has a beautiful long coat, which also means regular brushing and plenty of shedding—so his future family should be prepared for the fluff that comes with such a gorgeous dog! He would do best with a family who understands the Husky breed, enjoys having a loyal companion, and doesn’t mind a little extra hair around the house.
