About Archie

Archie is a 12-year-old Terrier/Chihuahua mix who came back to rescue after his family lost their home. He’s adapted smoothly to foster life—easy-going, steady, and content, ready to settle wherever love finds him. Archie lives for human company, happiest curled up on a lap. His age doesn’t stop him from chasing a little excitement—he still enjoys outings like trips to the beach or even just a stroll through the store. Most days, Archie is low-key, but he’ll never refuse a walk or a casual adventure. He’s well-mannered, calm on leash, and not the barking type. Archie gets along with all animals and people, and he used to live with both babies and toddlers, though now he’d do best in a quieter home that will spoil him during his golden years. He’s housebroken, crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His recent vet check and bloodwork were excellent, and despite losing most of his teeth in a recent dental, Archie eats kibble just fine. He’s carrying some extra pounds, so a healthy diet will help. Archie’s ready for a forever family who’ll give him the love and stability he deserves. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
