Meet Tux! This 3-year-old black Lab-Pit Bull mix is a sweet, loyal guy who loves people and is looking for a home where he can be your one and only pet. He hasn't had much experience with other dogs and is not comfortable with dogs he doesn't know, so he'll do best as the only animal in the home. His previous owner shared that Tux seems to know when someone is feeling down and will happily come over for some extra love to try to cheer you up. Tux loves to play fetch with his rope toy and enjoys getting out for walks with his people. In his previous home he was fully house trained and did well when left alone. He has also lived with children as young as six, though he can get excited when greeting people and may jump, which could accidentally knock over smaller kids. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter.
