All adopted animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies and other common diseases, microchipped, and receive heartworm and flea prevention while at the shelter. Dogs are also tested for heartworm disease before adoption, ensuring you welcome a healthy pet into your home. Residents of Sumter County will also receive a free county tag for their new pet.
