About Tommy And Moka
Moka and Tommy had a rough start, coming from a group of 26 dogs rescued from a difficult situation by Antioch Animal Services. Now, they're figuring out what it means to be safe and loved—side by side. Moka, at 7 years old and just 9 pounds, came into foster care as the most withdrawn of the group, but she's started to open up with patient care from her foster family and plenty of support from Tommy. Tommy, age 5 and the same petite size, bounced back quickly and proved to be happy, affectionate, and quietly confident. The two knew each other from day one and have been inseparable since. Tommy's steady presence gives Moka the courage to try new things, like venturing outside to the yard. Their bond is strong; Moka finds reassurance with Tommy around, and Tommy thrives having her there. Because they help each other so much, they’re being adopted out as a bonded pair. They’ll thrive in a calm and patient home that understands it takes time for the best things to unfold. Click apply to start the adoption process.
