Melody is about five years old and weighs around 68 pounds, but what people notice first isn’t her size — it’s her sunny personality. She has that rare gift of making every person she meets feel like they’re already her best friend. Children? She loves them. Adults? Instant fans. Other dogs? As long as they’re kind and not trying to boss her around, Melody is ready to play. And play she does. Melody is an athletic girl with a love for a good game of fetch. Toss a ball and watch her light up like a kid on Christmas morning. She runs with the kind of joyful determination that makes you laugh out loud. When she returns with the prize in her mouth, she looks up proudly as if to say, “Did you see that? I did it again!” But here’s the magical thing about Melody… When playtime is over, she transforms. She walks politely on a leash, making strolls feel easy and relaxed. She’s house trained and crate trained, which means she already understands the routines that make life with a dog smooth and happy. Her favorite place, though? Outside. Melody loves exploring the world — sniffing the breeze, watching birds, trotting happily beside her person. She dreams of a home where she can join her family on walks through the neighborhood, trips to the park, and maybe even car adventures to exciting new places. Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
