Blanca is an adult American Shorthair with a short buff and white coat. She is spayed and resides in West Nyack, NY. Though she's not house trained and prefers adult-only company as the only pet, Blanca has been vaccinated and is FeLV/FIV negative. She's searching for a calm, pet-free home where she can relax and build trust.

About Bianca

Blanca has spent a long stretch living in a cage, waiting for her next chapter. She first came home as a kitten to a quiet household and bonded deeply with her adopter, quickly becoming a devoted companion—but never warming up to anyone else in the family. As Blanca grew older, she decided she'd rather not share space with other cats or dogs and stuck close to her favorite human's side. After her person moved into nursing care, Blanca couldn't go along, and the rest of the family—now in a small apartment with other pets—couldn’t keep her. Shelter life hasn't dimmed her spirit. Blanca remains healthy and alert, with plenty of life left to share. She needs a home where she can be the only animal, in a calm, adult environment, with an adopter who understands that trust will take time but is worth the effort. She’s spayed and tested negative for FeLV and FIV, up-to-date on her vaccines, and ready for that one-on-one bond again. If you have patience and a quiet home to offer, Blanca just might be your next loyal shadow. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
