About Tina

Meet Tina — one of a kind, just like her name 🧡 Tina is an 8-month-old orange girl, and just like her name suggests, there truly is no alternative to her. She belongs to a very special group: only about 20–25% of orange cats are female, which already makes her a rare little gem. But Tina doesn’t stop there — even her color is unique. Her coat isn’t the bright, fiery orange most people imagine. Instead, she wears a beautiful diluted buff orange, softly blended with warm beige tones that give her an almost artistic, watercolor look. It’s gentle, elegant, and unforgettable. And if her looks are special, her personality is even more so. Tina was found abandoned on the street, but it was immediately clear she didn’t belong there. She was too gentle, too trusting, and far too sweet to survive among stray cats. Even after everything she’s been through, Tina has held on to a heart full of love. She has two wonderful sides that make her such a joy to know. One side is her playful orange kitten spirit. Tina absolutely loves to play. She chases toys, invites her feline roommates to join in games, and moves through life with the joyful curiosity of a young cat who truly loves the world around her. Watching her play, you can see how much she enjoys life — every toy, every friend, every moment. The other side is her soft, gentle nature. Tina loves people deeply. She will come up to you to say hello, talk to you in her sweet little voice, and sometimes even stick out her tiny tongue as if she’s making a funny face just for you. She enjoys being held and carried around, relaxing in your arms where she feels safe and loved. Because she enjoys the company of other cats and spends a lot of time playing with her roommates, Tina would likely thrive in a home with another friendly feline. But most of all, she wants connection, warmth, and someone to love. Tina is not just a rare orange girl — she’s a cat with a joyful spirit, a gentle heart, and a personality that makes people fall in love quickly. She is truly one of the most unique and special cats you will ever meet. Tina is rescued and under the care of Save a Gato. Any applicant needs to apply through the website of our organization https://www.saveagato.com/available-cats Although our cats are all located in Puerto Rico, they can fly to mainland US.
