About Buttercup
Meet Buttercup! Buttercup is a small survivor with a big spirit. Originally found as a stray and pulled from a high-intake shelter just in time, she is ready to settle into a warm home. Around 8 to 9 years old and about 10 pounds, Buttercup is petite but has a presence. She’s outgoing and reliably friendly—her tail hardly stops wagging. Buttercup loves her walks and happily trots along on leash, curious about the world around her. She wants to be part of whatever her people are doing and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day or where she can tag along on adventures. Buttercup does get along with dogs and children but prefers to be the only dog, soaking up all the attention. She will roll over for belly rubs and never says no to being close by. Buttercup does just fine with cats but hasn’t spent much time with kids, so any introductions should be slow. If you want a loyal, happy little dog in your life, Buttercup could be your perfect fit.
