About Honey
I have been fostering Honey for a few months now and she is my little shadow and the biggest cuddle bug I have ever met. She loves people and will follow me all over the house all day long if she can. She just wants to be with you as much as possible - on the couch, on a walk, or with her head on your pillow at night. When I first met Honey in the shelter she was very shy and so nervous that she was shaking all over. Over the past few months however she has developed so much confidence. Outside of the stressful shelter environment, she has blossomed and turned into this happy, sweet and playful dog. She loves her stuffies, treats, and walks. I've also recently discovered that she loves to play fetch with a tennis ball likes to carry the tennis ball in her mouth when we go on our walks. Honey is the easiest dog. She is very low maintenance. As much as she loves a walk, she is also just as happy to cuddle on the couch with you. When I'm working 8-10 hour shifts, she sleeps on the couch or her dog bed until I come home. She never barks or cries when I'm gone, never chews anything up, and has not once had an accident in the house since I started fostering her several months ago. She does good in a crate but given how easy she is I rarely crate her. She is a such a love bug and I adore her!!! -Foster Parent Email to schedule a meet and greet foster@mckameyanimalcenter.org
