About Eevee
Let’s go, Eevee! This lively, energetic girl is always up for an adventure and would thrive with an active family who enjoys getting outdoors or has a backyard she can tear around in. Eevee brings a lot of enthusiasm and loves attention, so she’s happiest as the only dog, but she has successfully lived with both dogs and cats in the past. With time and training, she could settle in with the right animal companions, especially if everyone respects meal boundaries or is fed separately. She has a playful, sometimes rough style, so similar sized dogs would be a better fit for any introductions. Eevee does best with animal friends who give her space around food, and she’s done well with a toddler for two years, though she may be more comfortable with older children due to her energy and size—slow introductions are encouraged. Car rides make her anxious, but she settles with some medication, which will be provided. Eevee is quick to learn and responds well to training. She’s completed a board and train program, knows basic obedience, and would excel at agility with the right motivation (treats always work). She’s both house and crate-trained, spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines as well as heartworm negative. She’s being fostered in a home setting; you’ll meet a pet already used to family routines. Ready to start your adventure? Click apply to start the adoption process.
