Meet Missy: Missy is a gorgeous girl who is approximately 5 years old. She has a beautiful, black, fluffy coat with some cute pateches of white. Missy was found by a landlord after she was left behind in a rented basement apartment by her previous owner. The kind landlord took Missy upstairs into her home. Because there were other animals in the house, Missy found herself alone again in a spare bedroom. JVC learned of Missy’s story when the landlord was in the process of selling her home and needed a safe place for Missy to land. Missy was understandably untrusting and shy when she first came into a JVC foster home…she literally suffered from abandonment issues. With love and patience, this girl has had time to relax and heal. She has turned into a cuddle bug who loves to accept all the pets you’ll give her and is most content when people are nearby. Missy prefers people over pets. She would do best in a home with no other animals or small children. She would like to be the princess of your place…and honestly, after all she has been through, we get that! Once abandoned and alone, Missy is ready to fill your home with purrs, cuddles, and love.
