Lonesome Dove is living in a foster home, but will be at the shelter on Saturday (3/14) and Sunday (3/15)! Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours! Sweet 2.5-month-old Lonesome Dove recently arrived from Texas with his siblings. He was lucky enough to end up in a foster home where he has now blossomed into a wonderful pup! He is doing well with housebreaking, crate training, and is best friends with the resident dog. What else could you ask for in a pup?! He is a precious little guy that has captured everyone's heart. Below is what his foster mom had to share about him. "Lonesome Dove is a sweet, sensitive boy who has blossomed so much in the time we've had him. Since day one, he has loved our dog so much and follows her around like her shadow. When he first arrived, he would freeze when going outside, but now he loves getting the zoomies and running around nonstop! He's a really amazing, relatively easy puppy and whoever adopts him will be in for lots of love!" He will be onsite at the shelter this weekend, so don't miss your chance to add him to your family! Lonesome Dove's adoption fee is $450. This animal is neutered, and is up to date on core vaccines appropriate for their age. They will need a rabies vaccine at 4 months of age and a Heartworm test between 6-7 months of age at the adopter's own vet. Since he is a puppy, any adopter should anticipate needing to work on housebreaking and other training using positive reinforcement training only.
