About Shelby
1. PLEASE NOTE: Breed mix info is the best guess of Bark Bark Wag and our vets. There is no way to know for certain what any dog's breed mix is without a DNA test. 2. MUST READ --THE FIRST STEP: Go to www.barkbarkwag.org and click on "Let's Get Started!" to learn about our easy 3-step adoption process & apply to adopt! ANSWERS TO MOST QUESTIONS CAN BE FOUND HERE! We are all volunteers with limited time to respond to emails; if your question involves something NOT addressed at "Let's Get Started!", we will respond ASAP! APPLICATION & INFO: https://barkbarkwag.org/adopt.html *WE NEED AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TO START THE PROCESS, THE SHORT PETFINDER QUESTIONNAIRE IS *NOT* AN ADOPTION APPLICATION* SHELBY Shelby is a playful, loving and lovable little girl who gives so many kisses! Though a tiny bit shy initially, she adores meeting people and making new dog friends! Shelby loves to play with toys (especially squeaky, crinkly ones); and she's learning about the fetch game, where she brings it back about 50% of the time LOL! She's a living doll with big, soulful eyes and a bright smile! Her favorite activities are chasing after her stuffies, and a cozy night snuggled up on the couch in a blanket with her family! Shelby is a scrappy little player who is happy to chase any toy you toss for her. She's also very gentle, and surprisingly quiet for a puppy... we have yet to hear her bark! Cheerful cutie-pie Shelby is 5 months old, 7# and will likely weigh under 15# as an adult, best guess. IMPORTANT: Shelby's ideal family will include a friendly adult dog she can play with and learn from, a physical fenced yard, and will be an adult family (or one with kind kids 10+). Shelby's learning about crate-training and housetraining, and making good progress. She's learning about the sights and sounds in her foster home, and is so excited to find a family of her own! Adoption preference will be given to families who plan to attend positive reinforcement manners classes with their new pup! A certificate will be provided by the Rescue upon request toward spay/neuter at 6 months of age, redeemable at Doctor Paws Veterinary Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI.
