Meet Blizzard Blizzard was brought to us by someone who was able to catch him just before the last blizzard we had. When he arrived it was clear he had been surviving outside for a long time. He came in very rough shape, with old scars and teeth that were extremely painful, inflamed, and in very bad condition. We estimate him to be about 5 years old. Right now Blizzard is very nervous and not very happy, which is understandable. He has been through a lot. When you approach his cage he will often try to scare you by swatting, growling, or acting tough. It is his way of protecting himself and telling the world he is unsure and afraid. Blizzard is not used to living inside, but he is more than ready to be done with the life he has had to live. What he needs is someone patient and understanding who knows it may take him a very long time to adjust. His ideal home would be calm and quiet with someone willing to give him the time and space he needs. This boy has spent the last five years just trying to survive.
