Labrador Retrievers shed their winter coat heavily in Boston’s spring. Brush daily. The Emerald Necklace park system and Charles River paths are ideal for spring exercise as snow melts.

Boston’s humidity can overheat active Labs. Walk early morning along the Charles River Esplanade. Labs love swimming at Pleasure Bay in South Boston, which helps them cool off on hot days.

Fall in Boston is outstanding for Labrador Retrievers. The Blue Hills and Middlesex Fells offer beautiful foliage hikes. Labs’ coats start thickening for New England’s cold winter ahead.
