About Gumbo
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Gumbo is a striking black kitten with bright, inquisitive eyes and a zest for adventure. Just as his name suggests, he's a delightful blend of intelligence, curiosity, and a dash of mischief. Gumbo loves to explore every nook and cranny—whether it's investigating open cabinets, climbing cat trees, or checking out anything new, he's always the first on the scene. This clever little guy keeps life lively with his constant curiosity and sharp mind. While he can be a bit shy at first when meeting new people, Gumbo quickly becomes friendly and relaxed once he gets comfortable. He especially loves playing with his brothers Mardi Gras, Bayou, Creole, and Cajun, and he sometimes indulges in a burst of energy by running on the cat treadmill. Gumbo was born in foster care after his mother, Kopi, was rescued as a stray. Because he loves the company of fellow felines, Gumbo would thrive in a home with one of his siblings or another friendly cat as a companion. A calm, patient household will help him settle in, and in return, you'll be rewarded with his playful antics, unique personality, and sweet affection. Fun fact: With an August 30th birthday, Gumbo is a Virgo—known for their intelligence and attention to detail. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
