She has been in her current home for 2.5 years, but recently began showing protective behavior toward the resident dog inside the home. Because of this, Stevie will do best as the only pet, where she doesn’t feel the need to compete or guard her space. What we know about Stevie: - She is an incredible dog and will do amazing in a loving home without other pets. - Absolutely loves people — never shown aggression toward humans -Affectionate and deeply bonded to her family -Fully house-trained -Loves car rides - Appropriate and gentle around young children -Anxious with loud noises and thunderstorms -Strong on leash (front-clip harness works best) She has walked alongside other dogs and been neutral in public settings.
