Meet Brownie – A Loyal Girl Looking for Her Second Chance Brownie is a 4-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix weighing about 45 lbs. She came to us as an owner surrender along with her brother, Midnight. Sadly, the two found themselves homeless and living in a car. Their mom realized that was no life for them and made the very difficult and loving decision to surrender them so they could find stable homes. Brownie does well with other dogs both big and small. We're told she is also good with cats and small children, though we have not personally tested that yet. Brownie can be a little shy at first and may need some time to build trust. But once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly devoted and will happily be your loyal shadow wherever you go. Brownie just needs a patient home that will give her the love and security she deserves.
