Oscar is a sweet but shy former feral who is still learning the ropes of the indoor lifestyle. He’s very timid at first, but with quiet patience he’ll blossom into one of the most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet. He loves his chin scratches and will drool with happiness during a good petting session. Churus are a guaranteed way to his heart and he’s a big wet food fan after having his canines removed. Litter box usage is impeccable. When scared he may hiss (for example, when a toe gets stepped on as he’s weaving between your feet on his way to breakfast) but that’s just him letting you know he needs space; he’s never been aggressive. A home with another playful cat would be a bonus as he loves tossing around toy mice and is still trying to get the resident cat in the foster home to be his bff (to mixed results. Dexter is a grouch). A home without small children would be ideal as well as he doesn’t appreciate loud noises and needs some peace and quiet to acclimate.  Come meet Oscar!
