A committed home is required for her to make the trip, and we’re hopeful the right person is out there. Meet GiGi GiGi is a 1-year-old Cattle Dog / Lab mix who is ready for a fresh start. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender after originally being found as a stray months ago. Sadly, her previous home ended up with too many animals and couldn’t keep her. Despite the uncertainty she’s experienced, GiGi has remained the same sweet, loving, and hopeful girl we met on day one. She can be a little shy at first, but give her a moment and she quickly melts into you. GiGi absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up pets, hugs, and attention once she feels comfortable. She’s a gentle, easygoing girl who truly just wants to make her people happy. GiGi is great with other dogs (male and female) and shares toys and food politely. She has a calm, gentle personality and enjoys being close to her people. She is also house trained. She does well with kids and cats making her a great fit for any family home! At about 45 pounds, GiGi is the perfect medium size for adventures, family life, and relaxing on the couch. We truly believe she would make an amazing family dog. GiGi is heartworm negative and ready to start her next chapter. All she needs now is someone to say yes so she can make the trip north.
