Rogue - the cutest little "German Shepherd looking" puppy! 🐾 Rogue was one of our DND litter puppies who was adopted a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it turned out that a youngster like him was a bit too much for his adopter, so she did the responsible thing and returned him so he can find a home ready for puppy energy. While Rogue looks like a pure German Shepherd, he actually isn't! His mom was a 20 lb black-and-tan Cocker Spaniel-looking mix, so our best guess is that dad may have been a German Shepherd. Rogue is now 11 weeks old and already fully vetted for his age -- he's received his vaccines, flea & tick treatment, dewormer, has been neutered, and microchipped. Like any young pup, Rogue is full of curiosity, wiggles, and energy. He will need continued puppy training, patience, and structure to grow into the amazing dog we know he can be. Rogue could fit into most homes as long as his new family is ready to put in the time and love that a growing puppy needs. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.We're open Monday through Friday 12-5 pm and Saturday 11-3 pm. We're located at 9331 State Route 124 Hillsboro, OH. Our adoption is open and easy, please come to the shelter to meet the animals in person to adopt.
