NOTE: Please read our entire write-up before contacting us. If you don't know the age, breed, weight, what vet care we provide our dogs, the adoption fee, or how to apply, you have not read the write-up. Lulu Breed: Standard Poodle DOB: 4-22-2020 Gender: Female Weight: ~ 60 pounds Microchipped Adoption Fee: $350 Lulu is a wonderful girl! She is a bit on the quiet side and still working out what all the excitement is about! We take a deep breath every time we see her because she's such a pretty girl! She's also a smart gal and eager to learn! Treats go a long way with Lulu! Lulu is good on a leash and loves exploring! She will be a fun companion hiking Umstead Park, walking the trails at the NC Museum of Art or just walking the neighborhood meeting all the neighbors! She has an easy going personality and wants to please her people! We are seeking an active adult home for Lulu that will continue her basic training and proper leash walking. She is a big dog and can pull people off their feet if they aren't paying attention. She accepts correction, but does need to continue her leash manner training! Our area is full of great trainers who can get her on track in no time! She does catch on quickly! We do not consider board-and-train to be acceptable training. If you want to know your dog, do the work yourself and hire a trainer or better yet, take a group class.
