Meet Ernie! 🐾 Hi there! My name is Ernie, and I’m a 51⁄2-year-old fluffy French Bulldog here at Heartland waiting for my forever family to come find me. Yes—you read that right! I’m a fluffy Frenchie, which means I’ve got lots of extra hair compared to the traditional short-haired French Bulldogs. Pretty special, right? I’m a happy, social, and playful boy who loves people of all ages. One of my favorite things is simply being close to the people I love. I’m a big fan of affection, and I’m just as happy giving love back as I am receiving it. Some of my favorite activities include going for car rides and getting brushed—it’s a great way for us to spend time together! I haven’t met any cats yet, and I can be a bit selective with other dogs, so slow introductions would be best if you already have furry friends at home.
