About Beatrix
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Beatrix is a heart-melting Border Collie mix who might just be even cuter in person than in photos. At around a year old and under 50 lbs, her youthful curiosity and sweetness shine through, despite being left behind when her former people moved away. In her caring foster home, Beatrix is learning the ropes—no jumping, leash manners, and gaining confidence step by step. While she's initially shy with new experiences, her Border Collie intelligence means she adapts quickly, especially when approached with gentleness and patience. Once Beatrix realizes she’s safe, she adores people and will lean right in for affection. She enjoys leisurely walks, loves toys, and her snuggle game is top-notch—she might even help you master the art of perfect belly rubs. Housebroken and well-mannered indoors and in her kennel, she’s proven to be a wonderful companion. Beatrix generally gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t seem to mind cats, so she could be the perfect addition to a multi-pet home. If you’re seeking a fun, affectionate, and eager-to-learn companion, Beatrix could be your perfect match. Please note, adopters must live within a 4-hour drive of Parkville, Missouri.
