About Toast
Interested in a sidekick for all your tasks, errands, and activities? Toast will be by your side like... well like butter on toast! Toast will be fully healed from double TPLO surgery April 8th! What my FOTAS Foster Family Says About Me: I love people and want to always be with you I am a medium energy dog and enjoy mellow walks and chomping on a toy in the living room I enjoy snuggling up in my bed at your feet, I won't get on the furniture unless you help me up I am potty trained, know my basic cues, and am working on feeling safe in a crate I do well with other dogs and would love to lounge around the house with a buddy I am great in the car and want to go everywhere The type of home I'm looking for: I bond strongly with my people and need someone that can be with me most of the time I do well with other dogs and love kids My breeds are known for having ligament issues, and I am no exception- I had torn CCLs in both legs! FOTAS has helped me with surgery and recovery, now I am ready to be the best version of myself in my forever home! I will be able to run & play like normal! I can be strong on leash; with some basic training I do much better I need slow introductions to cat friends Interested in adopting me? Fill out an application at FOTAS.org/adopt and we will reach out to set up a Meet & Greet! FOTAS can help you with acclimation and training! All FOTAS Foster Dogs have spent time in Foster Homes working on training and being socialized with various people and other dogs when appropriate FOTAS Foster Dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines- future care is the responsibility of the adopter Animals need 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to acclimate to your routine, and 3 months to feel at home- please give your new pet time!
