About Pinto
Pinto is a 9-month-old, 35 lb Sato—part Hound, part Jack Russell Terrier—with a warm, affectionate personality and an eager approach to life. He’s left his days as a Puerto Rican street dog behind and has been soaking up every bit of life as a cherished companion. Confident in new situations, Pinto keeps growing braver with every day and genuinely loves being close to his people. Crate trained, leash trained, and house trained, Pinto slots easily into home life. He gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids, especially after a calm introduction. His gentle, cuddly side soon comes out, making him a truly social dog. He already knows “sit” and is reliably working on other basic commands, keen to please while playing, snuggling, or hitching a ride in the car. Pinto is the sort who thrives in a home ready to nurture his progress and keep helping him blossom. He’s a happy, goofy, and fun-loving dog who just wants to stay close.
