Meet Captain Morgan! Captain Morgan is a young Anatolian Shepherd, a breed known for its strength, intelligence, and loyal nature. Originally developed as livestock guardian dogs, Anatolian Shepherds are naturally watchful and devoted to the people they bond with. Captain Morgan is still young and learning about the world, but he already shows the confident presence the breed is known for. Anatolian Shepherds are independent thinkers and very smart, often forming strong connections with their families while maintaining a calm, steady temperament. With continued guidance and space to stretch his legs, Captain Morgan has all the qualities that make Anatolian Shepherds such impressive and devoted companions. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
