Hi, I'm Bear <br/><br/>I might look like a big brave guy, but truthfully, I'm a gentle soul who just needs a little time to feel safe. When I first came to my foster home, I was very nervous - especially around men. I wanted to be friendly, but I wasn't quite sure if I could trust everyone yet.<br/><br/>The good news? I'm getting braver every single week.<br/><br/>At first, I wouldn't sit with my foster mom for very long. Now? I've just started climbing right into her lap (which I think is a big accomplishment!). I'm still working on feeling completely comfortable, but I'm trying my best.<br/><br/>I'm a very sweet and quiet boy. I hardly ever bark - just a few times since I've been here. I'm not destructive at all, and I'm perfectly fine relaxing on my own if you need to step out for a few hours. I like having my calm, cozy space.<br/><br/>I'm housebroken and I try really hard. I did have a few accidents when I first arrived, but that's pretty normal in a new place. Recently, if there are people outside in the yard, I get a little too nervous to go out - and that's when I might have an accident. With patience and reassurance, I know I'll keep improving.<br/><br/>What I'm really looking for is someone patient and kind who understands that building trust is a journey.
