About Muñeco
Meet Muñeco, a truly special little soul. His name means “little doll,” and it fits him perfectly, he’s as sweet and endearing as they come. Muñeco was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, a lifelong neurological condition that affects his balance and coordination. Because the part of his brain that controls balance is smaller than usual, he has gentle head tremors and wobbly movements that make him uniquely him. He also developed polyradiculoneuritis, a temporary nerve weakness that caused him to lose strength and, for a time, made him unable to walk on his own. The most important things to know are that his conditions are not painful and not contagious, and he is receiving supportive care and physical therapy to help him continue gaining strength. Muñeco is bright, alert, and full of personality. He can eat, feel, play, and interact normally, and he approaches life with patience, curiosity and joy. While he may move a little differently, his spirit is resilient and strong. He’s looking for a loving home that sees his wobbles as wonderful and understands that special needs simply mean special love. If you can provide supportive love and care to this sweet boy, please fill out and submit an adoption application today.
