Destello M, 7 years Destello is a big, handsome boy who has been through a lot in his life, which makes him a little shy when he first meets new people. As you can see his eye area is a little abnormal looking. This was due to a head injury but he has recovered beautifully! Once he feels safe, his loving personality truly shines which is where his name comes from. When Destello opens up, he becomes incredibly affectionate and is nothing but a big baby. He will ask for pets nonstop, rub himself against his human again and again, and give sweet little head bumps. He absolutely loves Churu snacks and all treats really, which have helped him gain confidence and feel safe. Sweet Destello is also learning how to play with toys and discovering that playtime can be fun. Every day he grows a little braver and more relaxed. Destello's ideal home would be a more quiet, calm environment with no young kids or dogs, and a patient, loving human who will give him the time and security he needs to fully blossom. He can adapt to other cats with proper introductions. Destello did test positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but is overall healthy! He CAN live with other kitties, as long as they don't fight roughly as FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds.
