About Chow Chow Dogs

Chow Chows are dignified, independent dogs known for their lion-like mane, blue-black tongue, and aloof personality. One of the most ancient breeds, they originated in China where they served as temple guards, hunters, and sled pullers. Their thick double coat gives them a teddy bear appearance.

Adopting a Chow Chow means welcoming a loyal, one-person dog who is deeply devoted to their chosen human. They are clean, quiet, and well-mannered in the home. Their independent nature means they appreciate an owner who respects their space while providing gentle, consistent guidance.
