Meet #Colorado This handsome boy was found a few days ago wandering near Elm Road, with no identification and no one coming forward to claim him. So now… his story turns into a new chapter. One where we help him find the loving family he deserves. We told Colorado he needed to sit still and smile for a picture if he wanted a chance at finding his forever home… and look at that face. He clearly understood the assignment. He put on his very best smile because he’s ready for someone to notice him and say, “That’s my dog.” Colorado appears to be around 1 year old, still very young with those beautiful bright white teeth that show he’s just getting started in life. Since he came to us as a stray, we unfortunately don’t know his history. What we do know is what we see here , a young dog who is ready for a fresh start. He doesn’t seem bothered by the other dogs here Resident dog meet is required Cat testing has not been done yet Like any young dog, Colorado will need a family who understands that bringing a dog home means commitment and guidance. Training, patience, and consistency are everything. Dogs aren’t born knowing how to live in our homes , we have to teach them. That means: • Showing him the routine • Teaching him good manners • Being consistent so he can succeed • Giving him structure, patience, and lots of love When you do that, something really beautiful happens… they become the best dog they can be. And honestly… can’t you just see him being part of your family? With that cute little smile, who wouldn’t want to look at that face every single day and have it make their heart feel full? That kind of happiness waiting for you when you walk through the door is something really special. Colorado didn’t ask to end up wandering alone with no one looking for him. But we’re determined to make sure the next chapter of his life is the one where he is safe, loved, and finally home.
