About Mystique
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Mystique lives up to her beautiful name, capturing attention with both her mystical appearance and enigmatic personality. This stunning 10-year-old dilute tortie has recently experienced heartbreak—her owner passed away, and the remaining family was unable to keep her, so she’s seeking stability and a loving, patient forever home where she can spend her senior years. Since arriving just a couple weeks ago, Mystique has shown a complex mix of affectionate moments and uncertain ones. She can be an absolute sweetheart who adores being petted and will gently headbutt your hand for more love and baby talk, purring contentedly. Yet, at times, she can become unsettled and will hiss or swat without an apparent cause, which may be rooted in her recent disrupted life. This duality isn’t unusual for cats adjusting to major changes, and with devoted care, she may blossom into an even more wonderful companion. Mystique needs a family willing to give her space and patience as she navigates loss and adapts to new routines. If you’re ready for the rewarding challenge of helping her regain trust, you could be the one to discover all the hidden joys she still has to offer. Fun fact: As a Pisces, Mystique may be especially sensitive and affectionate, craving reassurance and quiet companionship. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
