About Daphne

Daphne landed in rescue with her pups after a close call at Memphis Animal Services. Now two years old, she’s a striking wire-coated poodle/pit mix who is currently going through heartworm treatment. Daphne's not a candidate for homes with other dogs or cats, but she’s got plenty of affection for the people in her life. She lights up around kids, always ready for a game or silly moment. At 60 lbs, Daphne is strong and needs an adopter who can manage her on leash. She loves fetch, car rides, sock theft (and stealing hearts), and will always find her way to a cozy spot next to you. Routine makes her happiest; she likes everything where it belongs and isn't shy about letting you know when something’s new around the house. Daphne would thrive in a single-pet home with a family ready for a playful, devoted friend. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
