Pet Location: Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I'd love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in Peace Academy. This is a program for dogs to learn advanced skills to manage their energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - Chews, Kong-like feeders, puzzle toys—help to keep me entertained! - I’m smart and food/treat motivated - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. My home needs are: - I need a home with kids 6 years old and older who will enjoy my enthusiasm for life! - If you have kids in the home aged 6-9, I will need to meet them to make sure they enjoy my enthusiasm for life! - I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. - Wayside recommends that I have a fenced-in yard so I have a secure area to release my energy. - It's recommended I go home to an active home. - It's recommended researching my breed prior to adoption.
