Meet Lizzy! Lizzy is a super sweet but very shy Aussie who’s still figuring out the busy shelter world. When things feel overwhelming, her go-to move is to curl up and turn into a little “potato” while she waits for things to feel safe again. But give Lizzy a little fresh air and space, and you’ll see a whole different side of her. Outside, she relaxes, her body loosens up, and her adorable wiggly self starts to shine through. Lizzy has also tested positive for Lyme disease, and the shelter can talk with potential adopters about what that means for her care. Lizzy is just waiting for a patient adopter who can help her feel secure and show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. With a little time and love, she’s sure to blossom into a happy, affectionate companion who shares plenty of sweet moments—and lots of joyful wiggles.
