Hi there! My name is Carmelo and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. Hi, I'm a small pup with a gentle heart. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once I feel safe, my friendly side really starts to shine. I enjoy being around kind humans who give me a little time and patience while I warm up. I'm also crate trained, which means I'm comfortable relaxing in my crate and keeping things nice and tidy. It's my cozy little space where I can rest and feel secure. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet companion who will grow more confident with love and care, I might be the perfect little dog for you. Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
