?? Meet Buddy ?? Buddy is a 15+ year old Chihuahua who came to us with several other dogs, all in different stages of medical issues, age, and emotional stress. Out of the group, Buddy has more severe medical concerns than his friends, and we want to be completely transparent about what that means for his future. After evaluation, Buddy’s life expectancy was estimated to be anywhere from about 6 months to 4 years. We know that may not seem like a long time, and taking on a senior dog with medical needs can be a difficult decision. But we also know something else—a loving home can make an incredible difference. Being in a quiet place where he feels safe, comfortable, and cared for could mean everything to Buddy and the time he has left. ?? Buddy deserves more than spending his remaining time in a kennel. He deserves a warm bed, gentle hands, and someone who will love him for however long he has. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give a senior dog is simply comfort, kindness, and dignity in their golden years. Buddy is hoping someone out there is willing to give him that chance. ????
